Chez.

I have made it back to Seattle finally and was able to fall asleep to the sound of rain. It feels nice to be home and fall is actually happening here instead of like Montana and how it just seemed to jump straight into winter.

Watercolor Headaches.

This being sick thing is not a whole lot of fun. For some reason at around midnight I keep getting a horrible headache and fever. Enough to wake me and keep me from falling back to sleep until the ‘wee’ hours of the morning. Productivity has been lacking. Got the car fixed today. No more of the odd thump from the rear whenever I drive over a slight dip. Tuesday I get plates and then I’m set. Finally. I just hope this sickness passes before Tuesday so I can get some packing and cleaning done to get me on my way. The painting for my folks I’ve been working bit by bit while lying in ‘bed.’ Debating trying to do the buildings in the background as more impressionistic to try and capture a darker feeling. Sketched and re-sketched a few times now. Been catching up on my SG1 watching, as I have brought in my external hard drive from the shed. Really doubt I’ll finish before leaving again, but it helps pass the time.

Malade.

I think that I am getting a bit sick. About time it would seem with the fact that everyone else in the family has been sick lately. Just a scratchy throat at the moment, but we’ll see where it goes. I’m pleased with how the painting for my folks is coming along, but still having problems rendering the accordion player. I’m thinking that since he is under the light that most of him will just be black with ink and then I’ll paint a bright halo for where the light would hit. Dark and mysterious accordion player.
Cold day. I think I’m dragging the sis to a café to work on artwork when I pick her up from school.
Watercolor and ink picture I hope to finish before leaving for home. Something without violence, nudity, or questionable themes that I hope to have hanging on my parent’s wall. Hopefully not in the back room. Still have yet to get the buildings across the street to look like how I would like them to. But hopefully all this will fit together soon in one of those sessions where everything falls into place.
